Echoband 2

Ryan went and did his deployment paper work yesterday for when he deploys. They assigned him to echoband 2 which means his deployment time will be from May - December. So the soonest he may be leaving his May 2010. That is if they need him then. If they don't he wont be up for a deployment until May 2011. And even then, if they dont need him then he wont go! I'm really hoping they wont need him this May because thats a month after the baby is born, and I dont really want to be left here alone with a newborn. But we will just have to wait to see what happens. We should know around March/April if he will be going in May. But we are hoping its a no go!!!!

He found out yesterday his CDC's (career development courses) books are on back order for who knows how long. Normally you cant attend college until all your CDC's are done. So he is going to talk to his commander soon and see if he can start going to school now since he just waiting around for those. No one knows why or how long they are on back order so he rather go to school and get some classes out of the way while he can so he can hurry and get his degree incase we want to get out after his 6 year enlistment is up. He said he definatly doesnt want to get out without a degree and a good job lined up somewhere. We aren't sure if hes gonna do career. If he does he may be away from home a lot with deployments, going to other bases for a few weeks doing jobs there, and different trainings. So we will see. We definatly don't want to make a decision yet...see how the next few years go. But as of right now, this was the best decision we could of made. Theres nothing thats better that would give us the good health benefits and school benefits right now than what the military is giving us.

Its Been A Year!

Today we celebrated our 1 year anniversary. Crazy it was a year ago we walked out the temple doors as husband and wife. This past year has flown by but at the same time creeped soooo slow. Ryan was gone for almost 8 months of it, and I was home with my parents for the time being. So for most of our married life we were seperated. We are finally able to be together now.. be in our own place for the first time ever.. and we couldnt be happier.

Us this morning about to head to town.. Yes mom.. I know the bed is not made.. but its Saturday and we needed to get going.. had lots of errands to run. I promise it will be made on Monday! :)

Our day consisted of running to Walmart.. getting an oil change.. we were in need of one. Got a few things there.. left and ran to Walgreens to pick up some drugs for me... ran home to drop off a big thing we bought.. pictures later in post..and we drove to Loveland, CO which is about an hour away.. but we wanted P.F. Changs for dinner. We went there.. and they had an outside mall. And we walked it all. It was a cool breezy 65 degrees out. We went into Helzberg because I wanted to get my ring cleaned.. and Ryan surprised me.. and told the sales person that we were going to upgrade my earrings today. I was totally shocked because I've been saying for a year.. I want to upgrade some day I wanna get bigger diamonds. And since I got the earrings from Helzberg for high school graduation from my parents I was able to do it there simple and easy. Ryan totally surprised me and I wasnt expecting it!!

We then left and on our way home stopped in Ft. Collins for JUICE IT UP!! YUM!! We had one in Buckeye.. and ever since we got here...I've been craving it.. or even Jamba Juice.. but we dont have that here.. so Ryan and I went and it was soooooo good. I loved it!

We then made a run to Ulta because I needed some more make up and shampoo.. and we were paying and Ryan puts 2 bottles of perfume on the counter too. And it was the same perfume I had when we first started dating (only then I was almost out of both). He put up there Tommy Girl and Lucky.. My 2 favorites. I havent had good, nice perfume since we first started dating so he wanted to get some from me.. and so he snuck them in there. And we came home. So I was definatly spoiled today!! That little brat.

When we got home.. Ryan ripped out his new toy.. he was soooo excited. And here is what it is!!!

Ryans new 46 inch flat screen HDTV. He was sooo excited and wanted one so bad. We had the money.. got a really good deal on it.. and he loves it! He keeps saying.. Kim I can actually see the picture. We had an older tv before that my parents gave us (their old one before the big screen..) and when we were dating we thought it was a good size.. then I got used to my parents.. and Ryan got used to the tv's in tech school (they were ginormous) and we started watching this and we were like OH MY GOSH! So he is thrilled!! I told him Merry Christmas and Happy Anniversary!!

Friday night we made a trip to Target and went to buy a crib and changing table and we came home and Ryan put it together.. we had our friend Joanne over because her hubs was working and she didnt wanna be home alone so she joined us for the journey..I think she may be getting a little baby hungry!

Ryan & his finished work.. We cant buy a bed set yet until we find out the sex.. I honestly want a girl because I have a girl name picked out.. and I love pink.. but if its a boy.. I'll be happy. But still.. we will see soon! We got all the big things we need..got a car seat, stroller, bassinet.. crib.. and changing table. I think we are set with the big stuff!!!

Anyways, that was our weekend. It was a good one!

17 Week Appt.

Today Ryan and I went to the dr for my ob/gyn check up. I'm 17 weeks along now. Everything seems to be going good the dr said. We got to listen to the heart beat and it was mighty fast.. (must get it from me..my heart beat is always like 100 or 120!! but I got great blood pressure!) We get to find out the sex in 5 weeks! And I cant wait. I go back to the dr in 2 weeks to go over my labs.. they are making me do a 24 hour urine sample (KILL ME!) to see how my kidneys are.

(If you dont know what a 24 hour urine sample is.. its this big jug you have to dump ur pee in..every time you go...for 24 hours.. lovely I know!)

When we find out the sex of the baby they are going to do a whole bunch of other tests to see how the heart is and check the chambers and such. So that should be early December. And since I'm diabetic they are going to send me to Denver to have a fetal echocardiogram..and it will show more deeply into the babys heart to see if everything is ok.

We found out my RH is negative today.. so I'll have to get a shot so when we have a baby next time (not soon after this.. give it a few years!) it wont get rid of it and say its a foriegn object.

They also notified me today.. starting at 28 weeks.. I'll be going to the dr EVERY WEEK to do a stress test on the baby. My dr was saying she knows I wont go a full 40 weeks. And I'll probably be induced. Not sure how early this baby will come, but I'm glad I dont have to be pregnant the whole 40 weeks.

I'm starting to feel it move now. Saturday night I was getting up off the couch and it felt like it kicked me hard in the stomach and then left its foot there.. and it was kind of painful. I felt my stomach and there was a little hard bump there. I then called Ryan over to feel it.. and he was like oh my gosh! Thats sooo cool! He loved it! I think he finally realized there is actually a baby in there!

We are still trying to decide on names.. if its a girl...her name will definatly and surely be :

Holly Jane Pease... I got Holly from a street sign going to my hair dressers house.. and Jane is my great grandmas middle name.. I wanted Lula Jane because that was her full name.. but Ryan never liked it.. so it became Holly Jane..

We are still trying to decide on a boy.. we thought we liked Bryson Scott.. but I'm changing my mind now. And I dont know what I like. Boy names are so much harder than girls!! Just give me a girl and we wont have this name problem! But if its a boy I gotta decide on a name and stick with it.

Thats all for now. Ryan was feeling better today.. we went out to dinner and went grocery shopping.. and on our way home he said he wasnt feeling well.. came home.. and the throwing up began.. Sooo nasty! I just hope I dont get sick! He has a dental appointment tomorrow to see if he needs braces. I think he secretly wants them.. he is saying I dont care now.. but I remember back when we were engaged he said he wanted them to have straight teeth. But I said.. ehhh your parents teeth fell out.. why put the money into getting ur teeth straight.. we will just get you dentures! But now we are in the Air Force.. they will pay for him to have braces.. and we think he may not be able to deploy with braces on..not quite sure yet on that one. So he is really hoping to be better tomorrow so he can go to the dentist and find out whats going to happen.

Sickness.. Halloween

What we been up to... hmmm....well Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday it snowed alllll day. Ryan got to come home from work early Wednesday because of the snow. Thursday he didnt have to go to work at all. We were supposed to go to my OB dr appt for my 4 month check up.. we got there.. and we got there alive! And they had a note on the door.. saying DUE TO WEATHER WE ARE CLOSED. I was like.. if we and our poor little Arizona car can make it in the snow these Wyoming people can make it. We didnt get stuck at all. But every time Ryan drove over a big pile of snow I would squeel loudly "MY POOR CAR ITS NOT MADE FOR THIS!!" Friday Ryan had to go to work.. where most of his day was just shoveling snow. We went out for dinner to Red Lobster and I got this drink.. its called Red Passion Colada.. Virgin Style of course.. freaken DELISH! I've wanted another one ever since. It was soooo good.

When we got home Ryan started feeling really sick. And he lost his voice. Ever since we have had his vicks up.. got the humidifier thingy going.. got him drugged up on Nyquil.. and tyelonal for his fever..and I'm making him suck on cough drops constantly. Today we got up.. he came down stairs and went to the bathroom down stairs to puke. I've known him for almost 2 years now.. never once have I heard him throw up. It was kind of hysterical. But when he came out.. I was like dont walk by me! I cant get sick! Hopefully tomorrow he will start feeling better. But for today hes stuck on the couch.. I would prefer he stay in bed.. but he says he gets bored and theres no tv in there..

Last night was Halloween.. Adam & Joanne came over to give out candy....yes even though Ryan was sick.. but they didnt seem to care.. I doubt Adam cares.. they took showers together in basic training and slept together.. and was sick together..its like they were married or something. Anyways, so they came over.. we had lasgana for dinner.. and watched to Oregon and USC game.. which was amazing.. and we got hardly ANY trick or treaters. I'm soooo dissapointed.. people told us yeah you will get lots.. but we got maybe 30 if that...maybe not even that much. We have so much candy left over. I dont know what to do with it all. I bought all chocolate though.. like snickers, butterfinger, M&M's.. so I guess we can freeze them and snack on them for the next year.

Pumpkin Madness

Last night Ryan and I made a quick trip to Walmart as the snow was heavily pouring down.. he said it was dangerous.. but he didnt mention it till we were almost there. We needed to get a pumpkin and a few other items. We get there.. and there were NO PUMPKINS! I freaked and was like WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?! We hurried, got our things and left. Today it was still snowing so Ryan got off around noon and Adam got off early too. We hopped in Adam & Joannes (they are the couple staying with us, that just got here, told them they could stay with us on an air mattress, so they wouldnt have to stay in the creepy haunted hotel). Anyhow, we went to Walmart because they needed a few things and I wanted some cold weather gear to play in snow. When we got there I saw there was pumpkins for 3 bucks each.. HELLO!! CHEAP!! So we all got 1 each. Tonight after playing in the cold snow (3 hours later my feet are still cold!) we camea in and carved pumpkins! I made everyone do it in the laundry room because it was not near carpet and it was pretty large. (I mopped today too.. wasnt a smart idea.. oh well..gonna do it next week again anyways and we already got snow in there to take off our shoes).

Such A Mess....

Theres ME! No pictures of Ryan.. he was taking the pics because our hands were sooo dirty. maybe next year I'll be taking the pictures. And hopefully hes home for Halloween and not deployed!

Joannes Pumpkin.. she got a little bit of a retarded one. It looked old.. and she had a hard time carving it. It was quite entertaining. I still looks beautiful Joanne!

We are mostly set for Halloween..got candy ready.. Pumpkins ready..so we are ready for that. We are going to a Halloween party friday night to a couples house across the street from us. Its mandatory costume.. but.. uhh we dont have costumes.. they should be happy I got clothes that fit! Ryan says he is going as a Homicidal Maniac.. and I said I'll go as a prego girl.. yep.. we are plain and simple. Anyways thats all for us for now. Going to the dr tomorrow.. we are getting more snow tomorrow.. brrrrr....Having Ryan drive in it makes me UBER nervous.. and I wont dare drive in it.. because I'm scared out of my mind. We will see how tomorrow goes. Hopefully we wont die trying to go down town!

Our Guests Staying With Us.. Adam & Joanne. Adam & Ryan Were Friends In Basic Training And Ended Up At The Same Base..They Move Into Their House Thursday Right Down The Street From Us!!

Anyhow..It has been snowing allllll night and Joanne grew up in Alaska. She had the brilliant idea to go on a walk.. so I said LETS DO IT. We all went..and it wasnt bad walking down our street. We turned the corner to go around the block and if you never been to Cheyenne, its soooooooooo windy. So the snow/wind was blowing right into our faces.. we couldnt see anything. And all of a sudden I yell out.. MY FOREHEAD HAS A BRAIN FREEZE. And it really felt like a brain freeze when you eat ice cream too fast. It hurt soo bad.. and of course.. I went pee before we left the house.. but I had to go again soooo bad. So we took a short cut through a park/peoples back yard to get back home. I ran up the stairs and went straight to the bathroom! My forehead finally became defrosted.. and when I came down stairs Joanne and Ryan were making good ol' cannery hot chocolate!!! NUM!

We Are Proud Owners Of.....

We are now proud owners of our OWN new washer and dryer!!! After sitting and waiting to do laundry at Temp. Living Facilities.. I told Ryan WE NEED WASHER AND DRYER! I do not wanna do this all the time. I rather be able to just throw stuff in and go and do other things that I need to get done. So the day before we moved into our house we went to the BX (Base Exchange) and we bought a set.. and it took them almost 3 weeks to be delievered. We got them yesterday and they have run non stop. We had sooooo much laundry to get done. Its so nice not to sit in the haunted ghetto TLF and do laundry for hours. And it will definatly be nice once the baby comes because that will be adding a lot of laundry on my hands! We are definatly excited.. (yes.. over a washer and dryer)!!!
