Waiting For Ryan To Come Home For Lunch

1. What time did you wake up this morning? Well I woke up at 4:30 to check the time to make sure Ryan wasnt late, 5:45 when Ryan got a phone call from work, 6:15 when he left for work, and then finally at 8:30.

3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema? Oh man. I dont even remember the name of the movie.

4. What is your favorite TV show of all time? Well every morning I dont miss Gilmore Girls, What I Like About You. We like to watch Cake Boss at night, and Glee, and Secret Life Of American Teenager, American Idol

5. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? I would go back to Arizona.. its too cold anywhere else, and it doesnt snow there

6. What did you have for breakfast? drumstick ice cream bar. It looked so good and I couldnt turn it down.

8. What foods do you dislike? Peas, and I cant think of anything else. But I know I really dont like peas

24. What is your best childhood memory? I have a lot of childhood memories. We were at Babies R Us the other day and we saw someone getting those little vaccumms with the balls in it.. so when you push it and balls pop up. And when my mom would vacumm I would "vacumm" with her.

Missionaries

Elder Kay, Elder Crawford, & Ryan

We have had the missionaries over A LOT! And we sure have loved having them over. We tell them anytime a dinner appt cancels on them to give us a call because we are sure we will always have enough food for them. And its happened where they call last minute and say "uhhh our dinner appt got cancelled. Can we come over for dinner?" We found out today Elder Kay is getting transfered down to Westminster Colorado.. and I was like noooo you guys are coming over for Christmas! Now we will have a new elder to meet and get to know! We sure have enjoyed Elder Kay and Elder Crawford coming over all the time and entertaining us with their object lessons every time they come over. Elder Crawford is staying here and we will be getting a new elder from Idaho. We are excited to meet him come Christmas when they come over to hang out with us! And we will definatly miss Elder Kay. Only 1 more year left for him and he can go back home to the warm state of Cali!

Bring Him Home

I saw this on another girls blog. Watched it.. and it was soooo sad! I made Ryan watch it.. and he asks why I torture myself and watch these things.. And I dont know why.. but its so sad! He even got teary eyed!!!You will have to go down the page and turn off the volume and then watch it! Good video!!!

Stuff

Since we are having a little girl. We went out on the hunt for a bedset to get that out of the way since it would be kind of expensive. We found one we love and got it! Ryan helped me set it up and it turned out really cute! Still wanna get some wall details that go with the room and get letters and paint them to spell out Holly!

This is our Christmas tree and our stockings. My mom made Ryans last year for him because I wanted him to match mine. And I've had mine since I was born. And I plan to keep asking my mom to make stockings for all of our kids. We have had our tree decorated since November..but we are finally getting a picture of it now.

We went to Ryans squadrons Christmas party last night. I didnt take my camera. But it was really nice and quite entertaining. We had it at Little America Hotel. They had a really nice dinner for us. And then quite the entertainment. Everyone was getting drunk because they had a bar there. They played games like musical chairs, and a few couple games and gave away prizes. We won a new digital camera. But of course, what did Ryan get me for Christmas. I really nice Nikon camera.. like a professional one. (Figured it would be a good investment with kids.) And we had my old digital camera I had since before we met. So now we are 3 cameras. But I got someone we can give one to that could use one. It was a really nice night. We were the most dressed up from Ryans shop but there were people there in Suits and fancy fancy dresses. But it was really nice, and I'm looking forward to next year.

Ryan says he loves this picture. I dont because of the glare in my glasses..but I put it on here just to make him happy.

So Ryan got me this camera for Christmas..and we already opened it to play with it.. but he was playing with it tonight when I was making dinner for the missionaries to come over. And he was standing there taking pictures and playing and we looked at them later, and I was like oh my goodness I look holy humongous here. Its like one day there is nothing and BAM I got a huge stomach on me.

And this is why I love Ryan. He helps me do the dishes!! I did most of them, but then left the hard pan for him to do, and he willingly did it!! He's soooo awesome! :) And this is not the only reason why I love him.. but its a big reason. I told him I would never leave him because then who would help me with the dishes?? or make the bed?? or rub my feet?? :) He knows I'm kidding about all that though :)

15. What is something you do that he wishes you wouldn't do? Tap him. Anytime we are in the car or doing anything I tap his leg or his arm to get his attention. I dont talk I just tap. And normally he gets what I'm trying to say. or I'm a backseat driver when he drives, but he scares me sometimes!!! And all I say is BABE!!! or sigh really loudly!

18. Did he play sports in high school? He did is freshman year.. and realized he was no good so he quit. So he tells me.

We Are Having A Girl!

So we went to the Dr on Monday to find out the gender of the baby and make sure everything is working right. Ryan and I were super nervous about it all since I'm high risk. We were nervous about the heart, the brain and all that. But they said everything looked great and it was perfectly healthy. Ryan told me after we were done with the ultrasound. He was like "oh my gosh Kim, I was shaking." I laughed at him, because I wasnt as nervous as him I guess. The tech looked at the heart, brain, stomach, bladder and it all looked really really good, and it should be a perfectly healthy baby! She said it weighs 1.2 pounds.. which is a little over what it should be. Normally she said it should weigh a pound a 22 weeks. But I'm not much over so they arent too concerned. The babies heart beat was 152 and she said that was good because it is supposed to be between 120-160. During the whole ultrasound we had issues with it cooperating. It was punching its arms (looked like it was punching a punching bag) and putting its feet over its head. Also, she had to take a picture to make sure there was skin between the lip and the nose and right when she was about to take the picture the baby smiled until she was done. It was funny! I guess this baby knows we will be taking a lot of pictures of it.

Here is the gender of the baby. I thought it was a boy alll along, and I was WRONG. Its a girl. And I asked the tech. YOU ARE SURE ITS A GIRL?!?! And she said yep.. see it looks like hamburger buns.. its a girl. 115% sure! Ryan immediatly said I TOLD YOU SO! We are sooo excited!

She got a picture of her foot. It measures out to be an inch long right now.

Right after we got out of that appt, we headed down to Denver to get a hotel because we were expecting a big snow storm and had to be in Denver the next day for another appt for a fetal echocardiogram to look at the babies heart. They only did this because I'm high risk and diabetic and since that there is a bigger chance of having heart defects so we headed to Denver Monday night got a hotel..and the next morning went to the hospital down there for the test. We were both soooo nervous, but they said everything looked great. They got really clear pictures and the heart is perfectly healthy. They warned us though, after birth the aorta could get smaller and cause heart problems.. but ANY baby could have that problem. And its not very likely...it is not just for high risk pregnancy it can be for any pregnancy. So they warned us for that. But everything was healthy and good and we are soooooo relieved.

Holly Jane Pease will be here early April and we can't wait!!! Bring on the pink, flowers, polka dots!!!

So its been super cold here lately. We got snow Tuesday night and its still stuck to the ground. Last night at 5 PM.. it was 6 degrees out. SIX DEGREES! I didnt go outside once yesterday but Ryan said it just felt cold. If it had been windy it would of been ten times worse. But he sent me this picture this morning at 7:30 when he left for work. We had some guys come and put in a new furnace this morning and they had the front door open and I could feel the coldness come in the house. I put on sweat pants.. socks.. a hoodie and slippers just to try to keep warm and sat on the couch with a blanket. I HATE the cold!
